Michael Elam is a Real Estate Broker with Baird & Warner, using his marketing skills and industry experience to help landlords lease or sell their properties as well as assisting retailers, restaurants, and other businesses in expanding their presence. He also works with home buyers and sellers to help them accomplish their goals with their residential real estate.

Michael has been involved with commercial real estate since 2007. He began his career in the industry as the one-person marketing department for Sierra U.S. in Chicago. During his nearly 10 years with Sierra U.S., he quickly advanced to Vice President of Marketing and expanded the department to a team of four. In 2017, after sharing his knowledge and expertise with his marketing team, Michael decided to make a change in his career path, moving to the brokerage side of the industry and joined Lee & Associates for two years. After that, he worked as an Associate Advisor at SVN | Chicago Commercial for five years and completed transactions in multiple states across several different property and tenant types.

Michael has a broad network of relationships through his involvement with business and community organizations. He is currently on the Board of Directors, Events Chair, and Marketing Co-Chair for the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS (NICAR). He also has worked with Victory Gardens Theater, Howard Brown, The Matt Haverkamp Foundation (since 2005), and is an Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America). Michael is a Licensed Real Estate Managing Broker in the State of Illinois.
