Real estate has always been a passion for Zaya Davood. Having bought and sold several homes for his own family, he chose to start his own real estate practice to bring his knowledge, experience, and skills to other families to help them find their perfect homes.  Zaya finds the different needs and desires of his individual clients to be intriguing and interesting; he explores their needs and treats finding that perfect home as a puzzle to solve in partnership with them. “I love the real estate business and educating friends and family on the importance of owning and investing in real estate.  Every day is different, and every client’s needs are different, so the ability to truly listen to people and help them make educated, informed decisions is crucial to the success of my practice.”  Zaya also brings his analytical and technology expertise to make sure his clients get the best information and the best interpretation of the information possible.

Mr. Davood has been a lifelong resident of Chicagoland.  He grew up in Chicago, moving to the suburbs as a teenager.  After graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Business Management and Information Technology, he lived in the Skokie and Niles areas.  Zaya currently resides in Buffalo Grove with his wife and their three wonderful children. “When looking for our next home, my wife and I fell in love with Buffalo Grove.  The neighborhood, schools, and activities available to our children were exactly what we were looking for.  I decided to go into real estate to help other families find their perfect home, neighborhood, and communities just as we were able to,” says Mr. Davood.

Zaya Davood serves clientele all over Chicagoland with a focus on the areas from Evanston, up the North Shore communities to Libertyville, out west to Schaumberg, and back to the Lincolnwood area. He serves and forms friendships with clients of all backgrounds.  For those needing language-specific help, Mr. Davood is fluent in Assyrian and Farsi as well as English.

When choosing what company to base his real estate practice out of, Zaya Davood interviewed many area brokerages and ultimately settled on Baird & Warner due to the company’s long history of doing things the right way and having a managing broker that shares his mission and values.

In his spare time, Zaya likes to ride his bike, take his kids to play at the park, and spend time with his wife and extended family. “We love to take our kids to the Lincoln Park Zoo, downtown Chicago, and the lake front area. I am a huge Cubs and Bears fan, and there have even been times where I have cheered on the Sox – except when they play my Cubbies!”  Mr. Davood and his family also volunteer in soup kitchens and other charitable activities and are members of the Assyrian Church of the East.
